NOTICE OF AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING OF BISHOP NORTON WITH ATTERBY PC
Date: MONDAY, 15TH JUNE 2026
Time: 7.00 pm
Venue: ST PETER’S CHURCH, BISHOP NORTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an Extraordinary Meeting of Bishop Norton with Atterby Parish Council will be held at the above date, time and venue to consider co-option of a new Parish Councillor.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.
Agenda
- Welcome by Chair
- To receive apologies for absence.
- To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.
- To receive a proposer and seconder for each candidate.
- To receive statements of applicants for vacant position of Parish Councillor.
- Councillors to make their vote on paper if more than one candidate has applied – in the event of a tie, the Chair will have the casting vote.
- The successful applicant (if present) will sign the Declaration of Acceptance of Office (for retention in PC records) the Register of Member’s Interest form and the Receipt of Code of Conduct form(to be returned to the Electoral Services & Elections Team at WLDC).
- Meeting will close.
